Freediving at the South West Dive Rally 2026

Each year, in different places across Ireland, a Scuba Diving club organises a “Rally”, a weekend full of diving, for which many Diving Ireland members come together to scuba dive, freedive or snorkel.
To be able to participate, you need to be a member of one of the many clubs across Ireland:

It offers an amazing opportunity to visit dive sites you normally wouldn’t get to see.
You will meet many like-minded people, see amazing underwater life, great scenery and hidden gems and most importantly, get a chance to dive or snorkel in parts of Ireland that not everybody gets to see. Oftentimes, you can also camp on site (or find a nice stay in the area) and spend the whole weekend diving and having fun.

We were 5 freedivers amongst many scuba divers, but we felt very welcome and accommodated, and in the end we all just loved being in the water.
